About Us

Aidan Montessori School is a co-ed, independent private school for children ages 18 months through grade 6. Founded in 1961, Aidan is the only school in DC that holds accreditation from the Association of Independent Maryland and DC Schools (AIMS) and Association Montessori International (AMI-USA).

With the innovative and proven Montessori method at our core, Aidan prepares children to learn confidently, think independently, and succeed wherever they go.
